  • How much is admission?
    Adults $9 Military $8 Senior $8 Students $7 Youth $7 Car Clubs $6 Children 5 and Under FREE Museum Members FREE
  • Where is the Museum located?
    The Museum is located off 116th and Strang Line (off of I-35 and 119th street).
  • What are the Museum hours?
    Monday...................Closed Tuesday.........10am to 5pm Wednesday....10am to 5pm Thursday........10am to 5pm Friday.............10am to 5pm Saturday.........10am to 5pm Sunday...........Noon to 5pm
  • Who owns the cars in your collection/who owns the Museum?
    The cars on display belong to private collections in Kansas City. We rotate the main gallery every 4-6 months, and the “Drive-in” area every month. Right now, the “Drive-in” area is mostly dedicated to area car clubs. The museum is not owned by an individual, it is a public organization.
  • How long have you been open?
    We officially opened our door June 2014. However, we started as an organization in 2011 with a grassroots marketing campaign.
  • Are you a not-for-profit organization?
    The Museum is a 501 (C)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization.
  • How do I get my vehicle in the Museum?
    To offer your vehicle for display, please visit https://www.kansascityautomuseum.com/loan.
  • Do you sell cars?
    We do not sell cars. The Museum’s sole purpose is for the education, preservation, and promotion of automotive history.
  • Are you handicap accessible?
    Yes. The Museum is ADA compliant and offers handicap parking and wheelchair use when available. For special requests, please call the Musuem at 913-322-4227.
